Since shifting to telehealth during the pandemic many therapists report feeling increasingly overwhelmed and burnt out. Their pain is real. Those taking the leap from agency work to solo private practice are doubly burdened with the demands of running a business and creating a compelling online presence that converts web traffic into real clients. Therapists already in private practice feel lost in a maze of new technologies — the rigors of running an online business and social media marketing require ongoing attention. It’s not so easy to find new clients in an increasingly competitive marketplace. The call to do healing work has gotten bogged down by the realities of sustaining a desirable business.

IFS Telehealth Collective is seeking passionate, experienced, licensed IFS therapists to provide therapy to adult clients who come through our website.

Clients are matched to a team clinician after an initial intake with our Client Care Coordinator, and all services are provided through a HIPAA secure video platform. Clinician caseloads will build over time to reach a minimum of 15 clients per week and no more than 30 clients. Clients are seen weekly or more often if in crisis. 

We provide everything you need to get up and running:  secure video technology, practice management system, administrative support, ongoing mentorship and best of all, private-pay clients seeking quality IFS therapy!   

We’re looking for Level 1 trained clinicians in California, New York, Florida, Massachusetts, Oregon and Michigan. If you’re licensed in a different state, please join our interest list and we’ll notify you when we’re hiring there. 

About You:

• Comfortable engaging with clients over video conferencing

• Open to learning new technologies

• Willing to approach relationship challenges directly, with kindness and compassion

• Committed to the IFS model and to telehealth best-practices

• Interested in supporting other team members and in receiving mentoring

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Level 1 Internal Family Systems Therapy Training

• Licensed or Pre-licensed Mental Health Clinician in California, New York, Florida, Massachusetts, Oregon and/or Michigan. 
  License must be in good standing with no history of board complaints or malpractice claims.

• Strong desire to provide IFS telehealth sessions for a minimum of 15 clients per week

• Familiarity with teletherapy and ability to ensure virtual HIPAA-compliant care

• Able to complete documentation in a timely manner

• Ability to manage your own schedule

• Current malpractice insurance that covers telemental health in your state

Compensation:

• Competitive salary for client hours and paperwork

Physical Requirements:

• A quiet confidential space to meet with clients online

• Your own laptop or desktop computer (with camera) capable of streaming video

• Earbuds or headphones with built-in microphone

• Great Internet connection; i.e. if more than 1 person is using your internet service at the same time, you’d be able to stream a movie on multiple computers at the same time without an issue
